The Democrat tax bill falls short of the relief that Minnesotans deserve.
There are some good things in that bill, but we have a $19 billion surplus and Democrats still failed to fully eliminate the tax on Social Security benefits and provide adequate relief for working families.
Furthermore, their budget contains $10 billion in tax hikes. That is just unacceptable. We have a tremendous opportunity to provide substantial relief, and Minnesotans are expecting us to deliver.
